Brownie Batter Stovetop Oats


 

 

 

If you want a bowl of brownie batter for breakfast I gotchu!! Brownie batter is so much better than the brownies itself… no argument about that. Go try this recipe and it’ll change your life!!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) oat flour/blended oats
  • 1/2 cup (120g) milk
  • 1-2 (5-10g) cocoa powder (depending on chocolatey preference)
  • 1 tbsp (14g) maple syrup
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
Optional Ingredients:
  • 1 scoop (31g) of protein powder (I use PEScience)
  • Splash of milk

Topped with:

  • DF Yogurt
  • Peanut butter
  • Biscoff cookie
  • Chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Blitz oats into oat flour in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add all ingredients except the protein powder and splash of milk into a low heat pot
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently
  4. After 5 minutes, add the protein powder and the splash of milk
  5. Top with whatever you prefer
  6. Enjoy!
